MULTIPLE CHOICE (2018)
Three dancers perform their somatic response to musicality in relation to five short speaking recordings. They synchronize their movements to the rhythm and the intonations of the speaker’s voice. By introducing an alphabet of jumpy steps they compose their choreographic sequences and fall into repetitions, mistakes, loops and clumsiness. The work choreographically explores the concept of reconstruction and search for ways to approach it through distortion, repetition and absurdity.
